In line with the aspirations of Saudi women and their significant efforts in supporting comprehensive sustainable development, Dr. Howeida Jamalellail, leader of the Chefs’ Carnival Club in the Kingdom and ambassador and member of the United Nations Training and Communications Commission (UNMTC), visited the UNMTC headquarters in the Arab Republic of Egypt today. She was received by the Director General of the organization, media figure Mohamed Abouzeid, His Excellency Dr. Pilot Raafat Al-Ghul, the organization’s representative in London, and Dr. Robert Edward, Chairman of the Human Development and Education Committee. The meeting addressed several key issues, most notably the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its keen interest in women and supporting their advancement at all levels. For her part, Dr. Houda emphasized that through her leadership of the Jeddah Chefs Carnival Club, she has found that through teamwork, they are capable of achieving the Kingdom’s vision. She stated, “We are moving from a global vision.” Dr. Houda, an ambassador and member of the United Nations Training and Communications Training Center (UNMTC), also highlighted the significant pioneering role the Kingdom has played and continues to play in supporting Saudi women and their substantial efforts to achieve comprehensive development. The ambassador and prominent member of the organization indicated that she is preparing to announce a pleasant surprise for everyone soon, once the vision is finalized with the other club members. She noted that the club has signed and continues to sign numerous partnerships to support these efforts and ensure their successful completion. Dr. Houda added that there are ambitious goals they are pursuing in cooperation with the UNMTC, related to humanitarian, volunteer, and motivational initiatives for all club members. In exclusive statements, Dr. Houda revealed that her ambitions are boundless, aiming to benefit everyone. She added that what they offer to the Kingdom and the nation is a badge of honor for all, something they are proud of. She also mentioned upcoming initiatives, most notably during the next Hajj season, related to food safety. These initiatives will be implemented in collaboration with members of the club, Ambassadors of Peace: Chef Ambassador Dr. Waad and Chef Ambassador Dr. Munira, with the support of everyone involved. For his part, the organization’s representative in Britain, Dr. Raafat Al-Ghul, stated that they look forward to strong work opportunities that keep pace with the developments in the new smart world, particularly regarding digital transformation and artificial intelligence in the coming period. He commended the significant role played by the Chefs’ Carnival Club in the Kingdom in supporting the path of sustainable development, in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and its ambitious goals.
