At the headquarters of Arab Tourism Magazine in the Kingdom, His Highness Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Nuaimi was awarded the Influential Leader Award for Green Environment and Gold Membership from the United Nations Training and Communications Organization (UNMTC), along with the organization’s Shield for Sustainable Development. The award was presented by Engineer Abbas Al-Ibrahim, Director General of UNMTC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arab Tourism Magazine.
For his part, Engineer Abbas Al-Ibrahim affirmed that His Highness is a prominent figure in society and deservedly earned the award for his significant efforts at the global and Arab levels, and his major impact on achieving the seventeen international Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations, including environmental sustainability. His Highness expressed his happiness at receiving the award and offered his sincere thanks to those responsible for it, acknowledging its positive impact on society and future generations. He explained that he will remain committed to working towards goals that promote sustainability worldwide, especially within the Arab world. The meeting was attended by a number of businessmen and media figures in a significant and impactful evening, led by His Eminence Dr. Khaled Al-Khaldi, the organization’s gold member.
